We know that Short Track is not very safe because of the possibility of cuts due to the sharp blades. What do you recommend during practice/competition to ensure safety.

During competitions, some protection is obligated. We also strongly recommend to wear this protection during practice.
    – helmet
    – gloves (preferably cut resistant)
    – neck protector (sometimes integrated in skin suit)
    – cut resistant suit (not obligated for every competition, but highly recommended)

Other recommended, but not obligated gear:
    – cut resistant ankle protectors or socks
